Tour Operator Avanti Destinations Launches New Microsite for Travel Advisors

Avanti Destinations, a well-known tour operator, has recently introduced a new microsite specifically tailored for travel advisors. This platform allows travel advisors to book pre- and post-cruise hotel stays, sightseeing tours, and various activities. The primary focus of this microsite is to cater to advisors who primarily handle cruise bookings but fewer land packages for independent travelers.

One of the main advantages of using this microsite is the wide range of options available in 63 different port cities. For example, in Barcelona, advisors can choose from 49 hotels and 37 tours/activities, while in Kyoto, there are 26 hotels and 47 tours/activities to select from. The microsite also requires a minimum two-night stay at a hotel, ensuring that travelers have a comfortable and memorable experience.

The microsite offers a comprehensive tutorial that guides advisors on how to navigate the platform efficiently. Advisors can input various details such as the cruise line, sailing date, ship name, number of days on the cruise, desired star rating of the hotel, room type, and the number of hotel nights. Once the hotel is selected, the platform provides options for tours and transfers seamlessly. Additionally, the microsite automatically identifies the correct transfer options for harbor, hotel, and airport locations.

After selecting the desired options, advisors can save their choices and view the total price, including any additional fees, such as agency fees and trip protection. The microsite allows advisors to add their agency fee and trip protection cost discreetly. When sharing the completed pre- or post-cruise extension with clients, the agency fee and commission are included in the total price but not explicitly stated. Trip protection costs are displayed separately for transparency.

The launch of this new microsite by Avanti Destinations demonstrates a commitment to providing travel advisors with a user-friendly platform to enhance their booking experience. With a diverse selection of hotels, tours, and activities available, advisors can customize travel packages to meet their clients’ preferences seamlessly. The intuitive booking process and transparent pricing options make this microsite a valuable tool for advisors looking to streamline their cruise bookings and offer exceptional land packages for independent travelers.
