The Evolution of HX: A New Era in Travel

HX, formerly known as Hurtigruten Expeditions, has been undergoing a rebranding transformation for the past eight months. As part of this rebranding effort, the company has recently launched a new travel advisor portal. This refreshed portal provides access to updated marketing materials, brochures, and webinars, marking a significant step forward in HX’s evolution. The decision to change the name to HX was made in order to simplify the brand and distinguish it from Hurtigruten’s Coastal Express cruises in Norway.

One of the key features of the new portal is a one-hour training program designed to educate advisors on various aspects of HX’s products and offerings. This training program covers a range of topics including destinations, sustainability, science, and life onboard. The training is structured to be concise and engaging, with interactive quizzes to enhance advisors’ understanding of HX. Advisors who complete the training by the end of August will be entered into a drawing to win a $150 gift card. Additionally, they will receive an online travel training certificate and accreditation logo upon completion.

In addition to the training program, HX has also introduced a monthly webinar series that delves into different destinations such as Antarctica, Iceland & Greenland, and Arctic Canada & Svalbard. These webinars provide detailed insights into HX’s expedition products and are a valuable resource for advisors looking to expand their knowledge and expertise in the travel industry. The webinar series will be accessible through the portal, allowing advisors to stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in the world of travel.

Continued Support for Advisors

To further support advisors, HX has introduced a B2B help desk which is available by phone at (866) 312-6791. This help desk provides additional assistance and resources for advisors, ensuring that they have the necessary tools to succeed in promoting and selling HX’s products. In September, HX will be uploading new marketing materials including selling guides and destination packs, further enhancing the support available to advisors.

The rebranding of HX marks a new era in travel, with a focus on providing a seamless and engaging experience for both advisors and travelers. The introduction of the new travel advisor portal, interactive training program, monthly webinar series, and continued support initiatives demonstrate HX’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the travel industry. Travel advisors can look forward to exciting opportunities for growth and professional development through HX’s evolving platform.
