Disney Cruise Line is set to embark on an ambitious expansion, introducing a fourth ship in the coveted Wish class while also launching a new ship class entirely. As for the fleet’s timeline, the company anticipates a steady rollout of the three new ships in this class, with deliveries planned for 2029, 2030, and 2031. The fourth ship, a sister to Disney Wish, named Disney Treasure, is slated for delivery in 2027. This larger vessel will accommodate around 4,000 guests and will also utilize liquefied natural gas, showcasing Disney’s ongoing efforts to blend luxury with environmental responsibility.
Currently, Disney operates six cruise ships and plans to augment this number with the addition of the Disney Destiny, which is expected to set sail from Port Everglades later this year.
