Embarking on a journey from the Costa Smeralda in Sardinia to the rugged town of Bonifacio in Corsica promises to be an extraordinary experience. The adventure begins in the enchanting islands of the archipelago of La Maddalena, known for their pristine beauty and historical charm.
Boarding a classic wooden motor sailing yacht called “Gulet” in Porto Rotondo, we were greeted with a rich mahogany finish and six spacious en-suite cabins. After a detailed tour of the ship by the crew, we set sail for Caprera, part of the La Maddalena archipelago. As we bid farewell to Sardinia, we anchored in Caprera for a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear water.
The evening brought forth a 4-course menu prepared by the Italian private chef, featuring fresh pasta, seafood, aperitifs, and wine. We savored the delicious food accompanied by breathtaking sea views before retiring to our cabins for a peaceful night’s sleep.

As the day ended, the crew suggested finding a quiet spot on the cliffs to witness the enchanting Bonifacio sunset, a truly unforgettable experience.
