From March 15 to April 30, guests at Universal’s Florida and California theme parks will have the opportunity to indulge in the iconic wizarding drink in new and exciting forms.
Butterbeer, a beloved beverage from the Harry Potter series, is already available in various forms at the parks, including cold, hot, frozen, and vegan options. In addition to the traditional drink, guests can also enjoy Butterbeer in fudge, potted cream, and ice cream. However, during Butterbeer Season, Universal is taking things up a notch by introducing limited-time treats and products that will tantalize the taste buds of fans.
One of the highlights of Butterbeer Season is the introduction of a Butterbeer-flavored “ice lolly” or popsicle in California and Florida. Guests visiting Universal Orlando Resort will have the opportunity to taste Butterbeer caramels for the first time. Moreover, for a limited time, frozen Butterbeer will be available for purchase in a special collectible silver stein.
Universal Studios Hollywood is not being left out of the Butterbeer fun. The theme park is introducing a Florean Fortescue’s ice cream counter within the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Located inside Honeydukes, this new ice cream shop will open on March 29 and offer ten soft-serve ice cream flavors, including the signature Butterbeer flavor along with banana, chocolate, mint, and more.
