Air France Expands Lounge Portfolio in the U.S.

Air France is set to open its sixth lounge in the United States, this time at Los Angeles International Airport, in a move that aims to provide a premium experience for its first class and business class passengers.

The new 12,000-square-foot lounge is situated in the Tom Bradley International Terminal, conveniently located near the gates used by Air France for its flights to Paris and Tahiti. Decorated in the airline’s signature deep blue and white with accents of red, the 172-seat facility boasts a full bar and an open kitchen serving locally sourced French cuisine. Additionally, starting in September, customers will have the option of indulging in spa treatments in collaboration with cosmetics brand Clarins.

Access to the LAX lounge will be granted to Air France La Premiere flyers, business class passengers, and Elite Plus members. Furthermore, eligible flyers from other SkyTeam airlines will also be able to enjoy the lounge amenities. It is worth noting that Delta, another SkyTeam member, has its own lounge in LAX Terminal 3. The Air France lounge will reserve a private area for its top-tier customers, ensuring an exclusive and personalized experience.

Among the features of the new lounge, La Premiere passengers will have the privilege of accessing a secluded area within the facility, specially designed to accommodate up to 12 individuals. This exclusive space aims to enhance the luxury and comfort of Air France’s most discerning travelers.

Overall, Air France’s expansion of its lounge network in the U.S. reflects the airline’s commitment to providing top-notch services and amenities to its premium passengers. With a focus on comfort, luxury, and exclusivity, the new LAX lounge is set to elevate the travel experience for Air France’s elite customers.
