Spirit Airlines Introduces New Fare Bundles for a Better Flying Experience

Spirit Airlines is set to unveil new fare bundles designed to cater to a wider range of passengers, with different options to suit varying preferences and budgets. As of August 16, customers will be able to purchase these bundles for flights starting on August 27. The aim is to provide more choices for travelers while maintaining affordability and value.

The first bundle, named Go, offers a basic option that includes a personal item fitting below the seat. However, customers will need to pay extra for a checked bag, seat selection, WiFi, snacks, and drinks. Notably, the carry-on option will not be available for purchase, distinguishing it from Spirit’s current unbundled tickets.

Moving up the ladder, the Go Savvy bundle allows passengers to select between a carry-on or checked bag, with standard seat assignments provided free of charge. Snacks, drinks, and WiFi will be available for purchase, similar to Spirit’s existing Economy Bundle. On the other hand, the Go Comfy bundle will include seat selection, a blocked middle seat, carry-on and checked bags, nonalcoholic beverages, a small snack, and early boarding privileges in Group 2.

For those seeking a more luxurious experience, the Go Big bundle offers travelers the opportunity to sit in the spacious Big Front Seat located at the front of the cabin. In addition to WiFi and Group 1 priority boarding, passengers will enjoy the amenities included in the Go Comfy bundle. This top-tier option is reminiscent of Spirit’s Big Front Seat Bundle but includes WiFi, food and beverages, and a checked bag.

To complement the enhanced in-flight offerings, Spirit Airlines will introduce designated priority check-in lanes at over 20 airports starting August 27. These lanes will be accessible to Go Big passengers, Gold-level members of the Free Spirit loyalty program, as well as Free Spirit World Elite Mastercard holders.

With these new fare bundles and added benefits, Spirit Airlines aims to provide a more personalized and enjoyable flying experience for passengers of all preferences.
