This deployment marks an exciting addition to the airline’s fleet and a significant upgrade for passengers traveling between the U.S. and India.

Premium Economy Class

One of the key features of the A350 deployment is the introduction of Air India’s premium economy class on the New York and Newark routes. The premium economy cabin will offer passengers extra legroom and wider seats than economy, providing a more comfortable and luxurious travel experience. With twenty-four seats arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration, passengers can enjoy enhanced comfort and amenities during their journey.

In addition to the premium economy class, Air India’s A350 aircraft will also feature 28 suites in business class. Each suite comes with full-flat beds in a 1-2-1 configuration, providing passengers with a luxurious and private space to relax and rest during long-haul flights. The business-class cabin on the Airbus A350 includes direct aisle access, sliding privacy doors, and a personal wardrobe, offering passengers a premium travel experience.

Enhanced Entertainment System

All seats on the A350 aircraft come equipped with the latest-generation Panasonic eX3 in-flight entertainment system and HD screens. Passengers can enjoy a wide selection of entertainment content from around the world, making their journey more enjoyable and entertaining. The upgraded entertainment system adds to the overall comfort and convenience of flying with Air India.

With the deployment of the A350, 60% of all Air India flights to the U.S. will now feature new or upgraded cabin interiors. The airline has taken significant steps to enhance the passenger experience and provide a more modern and comfortable environment for travelers. From premium economy to business class, passengers can expect a higher level of comfort and luxury on board the new Airbus A350 aircraft.

Air India currently operates a range of aircraft on its U.S. routes, including Boeing 777-200LR and 777-300ER. With the addition of the Airbus A350-900, the airline is expanding its fleet and offering passengers more options for travel between the U.S. and India.
