Half Moon Resort, a luxury property located in Rose Hall, is gearing up for a major renovation to celebrate its 70th anniversary. The renovation project, managed by design firm Atelier-Vidal, will focus on updating the iconic Rose Hall Villas to provide guests with a modern and luxurious experience.
The renovation plans include retaining the architectural footprint of each villa while introducing fresh layouts to optimize views and enhance natural light. The villas will feature expansive glass-pane doors, screened windows, and open-concept living areas that blend seamlessly with the lush surroundings. Additionally, the interior design will incorporate a mix of wood and stone finishes, modern furnishings with tropical textures, neutral color palettes, and subtle regional accents.
Apart from updating the interiors, the villas will also receive enhanced outdoor amenities. Each villa will have a redesigned pool area, complete with cabanas featuring large-screen TVs, grills, and expanded seating for outdoor dining and entertainment. Some villas will even boast new infinity edge pools overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The arrival experience will be elevated with the addition of porte-cocheres, while new roofs, windows, doors, balconies, and lush landscaping will enhance the overall appeal of each accommodation.
The renovation project will be carried out in two phases. The first phase will see the redesign of 11 villas between April and November of this year. The remaining eight villas will undergo similar enhancement work over the same period in 2025. This staggered approach will ensure minimal disruption to guests while allowing for a comprehensive transformation of the entire property.
