Marilyn Conroy of Riviera River Cruises noted the growing demand for solo travel, particularly among the 65+ age group. To cater to this segment, Riviera offers solo traveler departures without single supplements. Brittany Yochum of Royal Caribbean highlighted the popularity of private destinations like Perfect Day at Coco Cay, reflecting consumers’ preference for controlled environments. Expedition travel, particularly to destinations like Antarctica, is emerging as a lucrative market, as indicated by Becky Helms of Lindblad Expeditions. Lisa Gourdine of Paul Gauguin Cruises emphasized the importance of educating clients on unique destinations such as Tahiti.

Representatives from cruise lines such as Silversea Cruises and Scenic Group emphasized the impact of authentic storytelling in engaging consumers.
