Oceania Cruises Allura Ship Debuting Earlier than Planned

Oceania Cruises recently announced that its newest ship, the Allura, will set sail on its inaugural cruise from Trieste, Italy, on July 18, 2025. This is one week earlier than the originally planned departure date. The Allura, which is the second ship in Oceania’s Allura class, will embark on a six-day journey to Athens, with planned stops in Rijeka and Dubrovnik, Croatia; Ravenna, Italy; and Kotor, Montenegro. Guests who were initially booked on the original inaugural cruise scheduled for July 2 were given priority access to book the new maiden voyage before it was opened to the public.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time Oceania Cruises has made adjustments to the schedule for the Allura’s inaugural voyage. Initially, the maiden voyage was set for June 8, 2025, before being rescheduled to July 2 and ultimately to July 18. In addition to the new departure date, Oceania is offering a four-day taster cruise roundtrip from New York from Sept. 30 to Oct. 4, 2025, in an effort to attract new cruisers to the brand.

As part of the preparations for the Allura’s debut, Oceania is introducing over 300 new recipes for the ship’s dining room. These culinary creations are being curated under the guidance of the newly appointed executive culinary directors, Alexis Quaretti, and Eric Barale. One of the exciting additions to the dining options on board the Allura is a creperie, a first for the Oceania brand. The creperie will offer made-to-order crepes and waffles, as well as delicious sundaes in the afternoon, providing guests with a unique and delectable culinary experience during their voyage.

The earlier debut of the Allura ship presents a fantastic opportunity for guests to experience the luxury and innovation that Oceania Cruises has to offer. With a revised departure date, new cruise options, and culinary innovations on board, the Allura is set to provide a memorable and delightful cruising experience for all who step on board.
