The Beaumont Mayfair: A Decade of Elegance

The Beaumont Mayfair, a luxurious five-star hotel in London, is gearing up to celebrate its milestone 10th anniversary in September. To mark this special occasion, the hotel is undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation that promises to elevate the guest experience to new heights. The highlight of the renovation includes the addition of 29 new rooms and suites, as well as the refurbishment of the existing 72 rooms, lobby, bar, and restaurant. This extensive transformation is aimed at modernizing the hotel while still retaining its iconic art deco design.

As part of the renovation, The Beaumont Mayfair is set to introduce Rosi, a new flagship restaurant that will tantalize taste buds with seasonal British comfort food. The restaurant will also showcase stunning murals created by British artist and designer Luke Edward Hall. These murals will tell the story of “a day in London,” adding a touch of local flair to the dining experience. With Rosi, guests can expect a gastronomic journey that celebrates the rich culinary heritage of Britain.

The hotel’s suites are receiving a makeover as well, with each one designed to exude elegance and sophistication. Noteworthy among the suites is the three-story ROOM, conceptualized by sculptor Anthony Gormley. This unique suite features a giant figure inspired by the artist’s body, along with dark oak walls, a white marble bathroom, and an exterior adorned with welded plates of stainless steel. Additionally, the presidential Roosevelt Suite has been revamped to offer a luxurious retreat with fabric-covered walls, bespoke furnishings, and antique bronzed glass. Guests staying in this suite can also enjoy sweeping views of the city’s skyline from their private terrace.

The Beaumont Mayfair continues to impress with its array of amenities, including the Art Deco Hammam and Spa, Gatsby’s Room for Champagne Afternoon Tea, Le Magritte Bar boasting an extensive bourbon collection, classic cocktails, and a Cuban cigars cabinet, as well as the Terrace, an alfresco cafe situated in Brown Hart Gardens. Furthermore, the hotel showcases an impressive collection of original artwork dating back to the 1930s, featuring pieces by renowned artists such as Alexander Calder and Robert Motherwell. Contemporary works by artists Colin Reid and Rana Begum RA add a modern touch to the hotel’s artistic flair.

The Beaumont Mayfair’s upcoming renovation and expansion signal an exciting new chapter for this prestigious hotel. With its blend of timeless elegance, culinary excellence, and artistic sophistication, the hotel continues to set the standard for luxury hospitality in London.
