The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino: A Look Into Its $100 Million Enhancement Project

The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino is currently undergoing a massive $100 million enhancement project that includes the addition of a brand new 161-unit oceanfront tower. This new tower, which faces Palm Beach, will feature 18 oceanfront suites that are part of seven different room and suite categories. It will operate as an elevated hotel-within-a-hotel experience, incorporating midcentury-modern design elements. The tower will also boast swim-up pools and an exclusive adults-only rooftop club for guests to enjoy.

In addition to the new tower, guestrooms and suites in the resort’s existing Bonaire and Curacao towers will be receiving a refresh. The Bonaire Tower work is expected to be completed by early September, followed by the Curacao Tower by early December. Guestrooms and the lobby of the Aruba Tower have already undergone refurbishment. However, during construction, some amenities such as the south pool and certain cabanas will be closed. Select rooms with direct access to the project area will also be temporarily unavailable.

As part of the enhancement project, the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino is introducing new dining concepts over the next two years. The resort’s breakfast restaurant, Laguna, is now serving dinner as well. The former Gilligan’s will soon reopen as Shore Club in the middle of next year. During the restaurant construction, the Miramar Garden will be open for lunch and beach bites, offering a variety of food and drink options. The resort has also redesigned the outdoor bar and lounge, now called Sunset Bar. Additionally, Sunset Grille, the resort’s fine dining restaurant, will debut a revamped design when it reopens this fall.

Despite the ongoing construction and refurbishments, the property remains open for guests. The resort’s general manager, Lawrence Tuck, has assured guests that they can expect the same level of service and hospitality they are used to at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino. Renovation updates are regularly posted on the resort’s website for guests to stay informed about the progress of the enhancement project.

With its $100 million enhancement project, the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino is set to redefine luxury and comfort for its guests. From the new oceanfront tower to the revamped dining options, the resort aims to provide an unforgettable experience for visitors. Make sure to check out the resort’s website for the latest updates on the ongoing enhancements and to plan your next stay at this tropical paradise.
