The Revamped Riu Palace Bavaro in Punta Cana

Riu Hotels & Resorts in the Dominican Republic has recently reopened the Riu Palace Bavaro after a significant renovation and expansion. The property, part of the Riu’s Punta Cana complex, had been closed since May for the upgrades.

The Riu Palace Bavaro now boasts 994 guestrooms, including 255 designed specifically for families and groups. These family-oriented rooms offer three beds, along with a range of new attractions such as a mini splash park, pirate ship, games park, cinema, and multi-sports area. Additionally, the property’s kids’ club has been completely redesigned to cater to younger guests.

One of the highlights of the renovation is the addition of a new food court with a variety of dining choices. Guests can enjoy options like a pizzeria, a “Wok-Poke station,” a fried chicken area, an ice cream parlor, and a taqueria. With a total of 32 dining venues available, visitors will have plenty of culinary options to choose from during their stay.

In addition to the new accommodations and dining options, the Riu Palace Bavaro now offers the Riu’s Elite Club concept. Guests who opt for Elite Club accommodations gain access to exclusive amenities and perks, including a dedicated swimming pool and bar area, as well as priority check-in. The property has set aside 108 rooms specifically for Elite Club guests, with 60 of them featuring private pools for added luxury.

With these enhancements and additions, the Riu Palace Bavaro in Punta Cana is poised to offer guests an unforgettable vacation experience. The upgraded facilities, expanded accommodations, and new dining options will surely impress visitors looking for a luxurious, all-inclusive getaway in the Dominican Republic.
