Universal Orlando Resort is gearing up for some major developments in the coming years, with the most significant being the opening of a new theme park, Epic Universe, in 2025. However, senior vice president of destination marketing and sales, Heather Layson Brown, is eager to highlight the host of new products and enhancements that will be introduced starting this summer. These additions are designed to captivate visitors and offer a diverse range of experiences for guests of all ages.

Among the highly anticipated attractions debuting this summer is DreamWorks Land, set to open on June 14 at Universal Studios Florida. This family-friendly area promises a unique and immersive experience unlike anything else available. Additionally, guests can look forward to two new captivating shows: “CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular” featuring a mesmerizing drone display and “Hogwarts Always” at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Also, mark your calendars for July 3 when Universal Orlando will unveil its largest daytime parade ever, the Universal Mega Movie Parade, paying homage to beloved films such as “E.T.,” “Back to the Future,” and “Jurassic World.”

One year since hosting the inaugural U-Preferred Conference, Universal Orlando Resort has seen a surge in engagement from travel advisors. Heather Layson Brown acknowledges the pivotal role played by travel advisors in assisting guests with their vacation planning. By offering specialized training and resources, advisors can effectively promote the diverse array of experiences available at Universal Orlando, catering to families with children of all ages. With the addition of DreamWorks Land, there is an increased focus on expanding the resort’s appeal to a broader audience, beyond just families with older children.

To ensure that travel advisors are well-informed about the latest offerings and updates, Universal Orlando Resort has organized a series of webinars, familiarization trips (fams), and regional training sessions. These events have garnered high levels of interest and participation, showcasing the growing demand for in-depth knowledge about the resort’s attractions. Advisors are encouraged to take advantage of these learning opportunities to enhance their understanding of Universal Orlando’s diverse product offerings and premium experiences.

When presenting Universal Orlando Resort to clients, travel advisors should emphasize the diversity of experiences available, ranging from family-friendly attractions to more adult-oriented entertainment options. The resort’s commitment to providing guests with a full day and night experience is underscored as a crucial element in creating lasting memories for visitors. By showcasing the value and immersive nature of Universal Orlando’s attractions, advisors can ensure that their clients have a truly unforgettable experience from start to finish.
