Unveiling the Ultimate VIP Experience at Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters

The concept of feeling like a VIP and experiencing top-notch service is something that everyone desires. Kerry Ann Quallo Casserly, the regional commercial director for Blue Diamond Resorts in Jamaica, emphasized the importance of making guests feel special. This idea is at the core of the Diamond Club service offered at the Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters in Montego Bay. The resort, which is part of the Autograph Collection, recently underwent a $20 million transformation to become an upscale adults-only retreat. During a hosted stay at the property, I had the opportunity to witness the VIP-level service firsthand. From a private car transfer from the airport to personalized butler service and exclusive beach access, the Diamond Club experience truly elevates the guest experience.

Our weekend stay at the Hideaway featured a Diamond Club luxury ocean view suite, boasting breathtaking views of white-sand beaches and the sparkling ocean. The resort offers a range of accommodations, from well-appointed rooms to lavish beach walkout/swim-out suites. With a total of 12 restaurants between the Hideaway and its family-friendly counterpart, Royalton Blue Waters, guests can indulge in a variety of culinary delights. From West Indies cuisine to fresh seafood, teppanyaki, and beachside jerk hut favorites, the dining options are diverse and delicious. My personal favorite was the coconut-crusted snapper at Calypso, the resort’s West Indies restaurant.

While the resort provides an array of amenities, including an infinity pool, swim-up bar, and live entertainment, venturing out to explore Jamaica is a must. We embarked on a full-day excursion with Nexus Tours to Dunn’s River Falls and Nine Mile, the birthplace and final resting place of reggae legend Bob Marley. Scaling the cascading waterfalls at Dunn’s River and exploring Marley’s ancestral home were both unforgettable experiences that allowed us to immerse ourselves in Jamaican culture and history.

In between excursions and dining experiences, we made time to unwind and pamper ourselves at the Royal Spa. A hydrotherapy session, included for Diamond Club guests, provided a perfect opportunity to rejuvenate and relax. Taking advantage of the nonmotorized watersports offerings, I paddled a kayak along the coast and around a nearby island. Evenings were spent enjoying live music performances and catching sports games at the Score sports bar and lounge.

While our stay was brief, the Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters left a lasting impression. The attentive staff, premium amenities, and tranquil surroundings create an ideal setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. Guests seeking an escape from everyday life will find solace in the Diamond Club perks and exclusive services offered at this adult-only retreat. As Kerry Ann Quallo Casserly aptly put it, the Hideaway aims to provide a seamless experience from arrival to departure, ensuring that guests can truly unwind and enjoy a personalized VIP experience.
