Virgin Limited Edition Expands Portfolio with Acquisition of Finch Hattons Luxury Safari Camp

Virgin Limited Edition, the luxury travel brand founded by Richard Branson, has recently announced the acquisition of partial ownership of Finch Hattons Luxury Safari Camp in Kenya’s Tsavo National Park. With this addition, the 17-suite tented camp will become the ninth property in the Virgin Limited Edition collection, further solidifying the brand’s presence in the African luxury travel market.

Finch Hattons Luxury Safari Camp offers a range of amenities including a dining pavilion, a star-gazing terrace, a pool, the Chyulu Spa, an open deck for yoga sessions, a Karen Blixen lounge, and a bar. Guests at the camp can enjoy stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Africa’s only Shetani lava flow, adding to the overall experience of staying at the camp. The Gehlot family, who will retain partial ownership of the camp, is also co-owner of Virgin Limited Edition’s Mahali Mzuri camp in Kenya.

Tsavo National Park, where Finch Hattons is located, is known for its incredible biodiversity. Travelers visiting the park can partake in early-morning and late-afternoon game drives, spotting elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes in their natural habitat. Additionally, guests can explore the Chyulu Hills cloud forests, ancient rock formations, local Maasai traditions, and visit the Rhino Sanctuary.
