Windstar Cruises has announced exciting details about their upcoming ship, the Star Seeker. This new vessel will feature two new suite categories, providing guests with a luxurious and comfortable experience while sailing the seas. The ship will include Horizon Owners Suites, located at the aft of the ship on deck 7. These suites will offer a wraparound balcony and can be combined with adjacent suites for more space, making them ideal for multigenerational families. In addition to the Horizon Owners Suites, the ship will also feature 30 Infinity Suites with floor-to-ceiling infinity windows that slide down halfway from the top, reminiscent of the style found on expedition ships.
The Star Seeker will offer a total of 12 suite categories, including four high-end options: Horizon, Star, Classic, and Deluxe. These top-tier suites will come equipped with amenities such as an Illy espresso machine, canapes service, and fresh flowers, ensuring that guests feel pampered and indulged throughout their voyage. All suites on the ship have been thoughtfully designed to evoke a sense of tranquility, with light wood, blues, greens, and natural browns creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere.
In addition to luxurious accommodations, the Star Seeker will offer guests a variety of dining options, with five restaurants to choose from. The ship will also feature a full-service spa for guests looking to relax and unwind. One of the most exciting features of the new vessel is the innovative watersports platform, which will allow guests to access the water directly from the ship, providing a unique and thrilling experience.
The Star Seeker is scheduled to debut in January 2026 and will embark on a transatlantic crossing from Malaga to Miami before cruising in the Caribbean. The ship will then sail up the West Coast to Alaska for a full season before transitioning to Japan and cruising in Southeast Asia. Windstar Cruises will be announcing the ship’s itineraries in early September, giving Yacht Club loyalty members and travel advisors the first opportunity to book their dream cruise.
